During these unpredictable and complicated times, our thoughts are with everyone; Our friends, family, and fans. We will continue to share with you our stories while the Hattiesburg Zoo remains closed for an extended period of time.
In response to the ever-changing COVID-19 updates, the Hattiesburg Zoo has implemented an extended, temporary closure to the public, but plans to reopen as soon as safely possible.
We are honored to play an important role in inspiring guests about our natural world, while also being an escape and a sanctuary for our audiences. At this time, it is necessary for us to ensure we’re placing the health and well-being of our community and our employees first.
Our animal care staff remains active on-site for the maintenance of all critical wildlife systems, and continues to follow all hand washing and social distancing guidelines.
The Zoo is a big family, and the well-being of everyone— staff, guests, and wildlife are—and always will be—our priority.
We look forward to the time we can open our gates again, and welcome you to experience the outdoors and share the magic of our natural world with friends and family as soon as we are responsibly able.♥️ ... See MoreSee Less
