Serengeti Springs at the Hattiesburg Zoo is a family park. The safety of our Guests and Team Members is our top priority, always. We continue to practice the highest standards to best provide a safe, fun experience. We count on everyone’s efforts to do their part by following our rules and policies listed online and around the park.
All guests entering the park must have a ticket or season pass (including spectators).
The following items are not permitted: Hard or soft coolers, glass containers, food & drink, pets or animals (other than certified service animals), knives or weapons of any kind, drugs or alcohol, clothing with objectionable references, personal shade structures or lounges and pool toys
Please wear safe, appropriate and modest swimming suits and clothing in the park. Please refrain from exposing inappropriate tattoos.
All bags, backpacks, and packages are subject to search at any time throughout your visit.
Please do not use speakers, radios or devices that will emit sound that may bother other guests or otherwise be unsafe in or around water.
Children under 12 will not be permitted into the park without an accompanying companion (18 years or older).
Obey all posted signs and verbal instructions from Lifeguards or other staff members.
Life Vests are highly recommended for guests under 42″ tall and weak swimmers in the Lazy River. Only you can determine your level of swimming skills. Life Vests are provided FREE OF CHARGE based on availability.
Glass masks, snorkels, diving gear and fins are not permitted in the Lazy River.
Children not toilet trained MUST wear approved swim diapers at all times.
Do not use water attractions if you have been ill within the past two weeks, have a communicable disease and/or open wounds.
Please do not change children’s diapers on the pool deck; changing tables are provided in all restrooms.
Serengeti Springs reserves the right to determine the highest safety of all attractions and may close attractions at any time at our discretion based on inclement weather, high winds, lightning, water clarity, mechanical issues or other special circumstances.
Use of the Park, its slides and amusements are at your own risk.
Protect your personal items. Keep your personal items like cell phones, car keys and money secure at all times. Lockers are available for a nominal fee. Serengeti Springs is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
To maintain our family-friendly environment, the use of cigarettes, chewing tobacco, electronic cigarettes (e-cigs), alcoholic beverages, lighters and illegal substances are prohibited inside Serengeti Springs.
By visiting our facility, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
Serengeti Springs reserves the right to require a Guest to leave if the Guest is (i) using profanity, offensive or threatening language towards our Team Members or other Guests and/or (ii) violating any other Park Rules. Serious violations or trespassing may result in arrest. No refunds will be offered.
Video cameras are operating throughout the park. We reserve the right to video, film, photograph, record and otherwise reproduce the images/voice/sounds of anyone that enters upon park property and use them for any purpose without payment or consideration to any person. That is, we own them and may use them. Among other things, we intend to broadcast these images “live” from time to time, including without limitation, on the World Wide Web via the Internet. We may also use and/or publish them in other manners including for advertising.
